Natalie Chow

“Appreciate all the time you have to spend with those you love.”

Natalie has worked in the engineering field for over six years, directed by her love of math and science to become an engineer. She chose Environmental Engineering, specializing in water resources, to apply engineering principles to enhance people’s experience of their surroundings and to contribute to the care and well-being of the planet. The projects she finds most satisfying are those that benefit her surrounding community.

Parent of a toddler, Natalie enjoys working from home these days. She is especially happy to find at CAPITAL the inspiration of other female engineers and the recognition of the benefits of a work-from-home team that understands and supports the needs of full-time parents with part- or full-time work. Natalie finds it most satisfying to work with clients who appreciate the direct and personal services a small firm offers.

When she’s not running after her toddler, Natalie and her family hike, ride bikes, garden and read. She also loves to travel and looks forward to a time when she and her family can plan some fun trips again, once it’s safe to do so after the pandemic. She is also a punk rock fan and notes Blink 182 as her favorite. She believes that…

“we all have the same 24 hours in a day; it’s our choice how we use [them].”
